What is left and right?? (tie rod ends)
« on: April 19, 2017, 04:03:15 PM »
About to order a couple of new ends to my tie rods (MB 170S) and simply don't understand what to buy...

From the site (www.automobilia-versand.de) I can choose between 16 and 18 mm. Obviously 18 mm belongs to 170S.
But further, there are option LEFT or RIGHT.
Price is the same, but there must be some difference ?!

Have to ask you guys - what is left and what is right?
For me all the ends look the same. No ?

Thanks in advance!!

/Thomas

Thomas,

On right hand threads. turn the bolt right to tighten
On left hand threads, turn the bolt left to tighten.
