One more piece to my 170VK puzzle....

A original 1940 Sindelfingen body plate. It is fitted on the outside of the body beneth the drivers door.

A trunk lid in aluminium from a car used by the Luftwaffe, Stukageschwader 3 , Flugplatz Cirava , Kurland 1944-1945, Latvia.
I hope that it is the right size for my car.

I wish I could find parts like this myself. But for obvious reasons it is impossible in Sweden. Odd pieces turn up now and then in different parts of the world.
It is possible to buy reproduction parts but I preffer original parts even if they are in bad condition. Sometimes the chase is better than the catch...

This is how the special speedo should look like. The black face and the trip meter is different from the standard 170V

do you have an engine,i have a block here dated 1939.it may require a lot work to build into an engine (rebore etc etc ) .
