Record price for a motorcycle
« on: October 21, 2014, 02:29:32 PM »
I found this to be an interesting story as the motorcycle featured in Easy Rider which just sold for a record $1.3 million could be a fake. Apparently Dan Haggerty has sold 2 "authentic documented" Harleys when only 1 should exist. There were 2 made (one was stolen along with 2 other motorcycles at the end of filming) and the other was crashed at end of the movie. The crashed motorcycle is the 1 which Hagerty has now sold, 2 differnet times with documentation.  I suspect this will end up in court.
