Hypoid oil EP90?
« on: March 02, 2009, 04:11:17 PM »
I am curious to know what members are using for their rear axle . The manual recommends Hypoid SAE 90. is EP90w compatible or a  EP should not be used?
Thanks

Current recommendation by MB is EP gear oil 85W90.  The same gear oil is recommended for the central lube, steering box, and water pump.
