170s parts manual wanted
« on: November 25, 2013, 05:02:46 PM »
I am looking for a 170s parts manual in English. I have one in German, but it is not quite the same as reading in your native language. Anyone have one for sale, or know where there is a pdf version and/or photocopy ?

Hi Craig

I have a Catalog "A" for Type 170 S-D 1953 parts catalogue in English which I could try to p/c or even photograph for you if you haven't had any luck so far.

Kind regards
Ross.
(I have a 1955 170S-D pick-up about to start restoration on. A huge project!)

Hi Craig
Did you ever get the 170s parts manual you wanted?

Regards
Ross.

Hi Craig
I have a "Catalog "A" dated 1953 for the 170 S-D which has pictures of all the parts in exploded view and each part numbered. there is no naming in English of the part.
The book runs to 50 pages and I would be happy to photograph/ photocopy or try to scan it for you if it would help.
(No cost)
I could try a few pages to see what works best.

Regards
Ross.

Craig,

I will look but I have many things going on. If I find my in English spare parts catalogue (Ersatzteilekatalog) I will send you a free .pdf, but please be patient, as I have handled many problems: multiple deaths, house seizures which I now own, multiple cars, an extra 7 Mercedes, and many other things. Plus I need to hire some people.  Soon as I can, I will respond.

In the meantime, I am looking f0or a 170 or 220 grille and grille frame in any condition, I would prefer not to make one, time is a great thief.
Das Beste oder nichts!
