it would correlate with the tube and tire size for your car.

There were two different sizes. I think these wheels are the larger. I'm not sure whether you can get a larger stem in all cases, but they do have grommets for this to use the smaller stem, I believe.

I found a site about valve stem sizes. TR 15 is .625 diameter and TR 13 is .453
