Hypoid oil EP90?

I am curious to know what members are using for their rear axle . The manual recommends Hypoid SAE 90. is EP90w compatible or a EP should not be used?

Current recommendation by MB is EP gear oil 85W90. The same gear oil is recommended for the central lube, steering box, and water pump.
