Oldtimer day in Berlin
« on: May 11, 2009, 06:39:45 AM »
Just wanted to share this 300 coupe from the recent old timer day in Berlin

Hand on heart the 300 coupe or any Adenauer for that matter is such a pretty and graceful looking car.

Nice size and stance but I still prefer the 170 type headlights.
To me the 220 and 300 were sort of stuck in between the old prewar look and the "modern" unibody and could not quite make up their mind who they were... I think Mercedes buyers were and are a conservative bunch that need to get warmed up to radical new body style changes by easing them in.

I agree. I like the external headlights as well.
