Now that's some gift!  ;) A super Mercedes from the Kanzler Hitler to the Croat leader Ante Pavelic. Some obring protocol "How are you"s in the beginning, but later they have some fun around the Mercedes. Too bad for the quality!

the 770 series of cars is my favourite of the pre war Mercedes models, it has such presence, such an imposing looking car

Here is a 770 tourenwagen..  This is in a private collection in New England that we saw in 2006.  Also shown at the 2003 Pebble Beach Concours in the second photo.

It is hard to realize how large the 770 Großer is until you stand next to one.
