1954 Mercedes-Benz 170S

This is a car we acquired in a group of cars from an estate.  It had been stored in a storage facility for several years, out of the weather and out of the sunlight, which explains why the body, paint, and interior are in such good shape.

We have gone through this car from end to end, but we have not restored it.  Engine runs well, brakes are good, exhaust is good, tires are brand new radial whitewalls.  We have also gone through this car cosmetically, cleaned it thoroughly, touched up some areas and buffed and polished it.

This is a complete car, except for the air cleaner which was missing when we got it.  It would make an excellent candidate for a complete restoration since all the pieces are there and they are all in good shape, but it would also be a great driver in its current condition that someone could enjoy every day.  Remember, this is a Mercedes and they build them to last.

The odometer shows 302 miles but we have no idea whether it is accurate and whether that represents 100,302 miles so we will have to sell this car as "miles unknown".  It would be sold to the highest bidder "as is" and we will require a 25% deposit within 48 hours of auction close and full payment by bank wire transfer within 7 business days.
