Luggage shelf for 220 Sedan
« on: July 13, 2011, 12:52:00 PM »
Morning All

I had down loaded the plan for a luggage shelf as attached from this website (I think ???) and used it to build the mock-up for my 220 Sedan out of G1S fir plywood, as in next image.

I cannot find the original posting for the plan and had to do some modifications to get it to fit the truck correctly, by trimming the back corners to clear the trunk bulkhead and at the LH front corner so it would go into the trunk opening. Glad I did not spring for the expensive marine grade, maple veniered plywood to start!

Anyone know where I can relocate the original drawing? And is it for the Cab-A, that being why it needed modifications?

This probably was for a 170S and 220 cab A.  Volker forwarded this drawing and he has a 170S cab A.  It would be great if you could correct the drawing for a cab B so that we can have that in our Technical Articles.  Thanks Pete!!!,191.0.html
