These pictures are from my Hella headlight, if you have a Bosch headlight they will be similar.

It looks as though you may be missing the reflector.  In my pictures it is the brown dome but on the inside it is a mirrored surface.
Also, the bulb holder looks significantly different.  In your picture, the bulb holder to the right of the headlight looks more correct.

I believe most of the post-war Bosch headlights are like Danny's, with the contact assembly fixed in the bucket. He needs the correct bulb holders, which have no wire terminals on them. The bulbs merely make contact with the tabs.

Henry, are you saying that the 170S-V lamp holder is different than the 170Vb and 170Sb or that the Hella is different than the Bosch?  My Hella lamp holder pictured is not pre-war.

As usual Henry is correct for the Bosch lamp holder.  There obviously is a difference in the Bosch vs. Hella types which were both available on the 170 models.  Here is the Bosch diagram for the headlamp assembly.

Should there be any wires at all on the bulb holder?  It appears that all the wiring connections are on the contact plate.

I'm not sure John..another thing i'm not sure it's if these headlight use two bulbs
cause in the diagram that you sent me shows one big and a small bulb.
thats why i asked LARS if he can do me the favor of showing me his headlight connections so i can see how they connect i can compare
if my bulb holders are like his and the contacts to the plate... cause his are identical like mine

There are no wires to the bulb holders. The contacts on the bulbs make contact with the tabs mounted in the headlight bucket. You will have to get the correct ones. You may be able to modify your bulb holders to work, but I've never done that. Someone probably has a pair they can sell you. I don't think I have any.
