Thank you John! My wife and I have been living together the last 2 years so luckily it isn't all too much of a change. For now I'm loving the married live :D
As promised I'll update when there's an update ;)

Just a quick update:

In two weeks the car will be moved to a professional restorer. He will check the work that I have done and make sure that the engine runs smoothly.
Also the body work will be done by him.

I'm hoping that the car will be on the road by next fall :)  During the works I will bring the car a visit and take some pictures. I will post them in this work log.

grts and thanks for all the help!

Hello everyone,
I hope you are all doing well.

Here I am with another update (and a question):

The car is being restored by a professional restorer. The car is mostly being stripped so that the bodywork can be thoroughly restored. (see pictures).

My question:
I need to renew all the rubbers (yes all of them). I can order them via Niemoeller but it's going to be quite expensive. Does someone know where I can get them at a better price?
Thanks in advance.

ps: in a couple of months we'll have to decide about the colour. I'm going to start a topic/poll for some advice :)

You could check to see whether Automobilia Versand is doing the rubbers - likewise the guy who runs the Veterama swap meet in Mannheim. I can't remember his name, but it will be on the Veterama website.

No Hans :) mine is at another place.

It's been a while since I've given an update, I hope everybody is fine!

Work on the car has progressed quite a bit. The restoration should be completed by september.
We've decided on the colour for the car (without the poll I'm sorry :) ): anthracite metallic.

I'm glad someone else is doing the restoration as I became a  dad on 20/04/15 and I wouldn't find the time, energy or just wouldn't want to do all the work myself :)

I'm planning to take some pictures next weeks and I'll upload them asap.
