What a fun concept for a contest.

Hard one! Maybe something involving the radiator? :p  But I can imagine we have to be more specific!

No, the seats are hot, something about the seats  ;D On some pictures I see armrests at the sides of the seat, which can be lifted, it seems - is that part for releasing/locking the armrests?

Those things by the seats that look like armrests are just filler pieces between the backrest and body. They have a folding section because that's where the top irons pass through when the top is up.

How long does this contest run? I'm thinking I might like that t-shirt.

It locks/releases the horizontal part of the seat,  to move a little forward/backward? Do these seats move at all? In my car the seats are on rails /4 door coupe/, but how about the roadster?

nothing to do with the adjustable seat.
in the roadster everything is very basic. ;D
In the floorpan there are three holes to adjust the driverseat.
and only one for the codriver.

onder the seat is a pin

Is that it? If it is, then it is right on the door lock mechanism. And I see no other use for it, but to secure the lock? The large door handle is for opening, but this thing can be used to lock the door mechanism?

Ted  :-*
You are the proud owner of a  170/220 logo golf shirt.  Congratulations!

Yes, I was wondering that it keep you all so busy.
It was very early clear that it is a roadster part when Henry told you he knows the answer.
I thought it must be a peace off cake with the very detailed pictures of the roadster on the RM actions site.
Paavo came up first with the roadster picture, but the wrong one.
Iff he had a closer look  ::) he found them on this picture.

larger on the site of RM

Congratulations Ted!!! If you will email me your shirt size  - S, M, L, XL, 2XL and your address I will send a 170-220 shirt.

I am awarding Charles Adamson a shirt also .... just for his persistence and shear number of guesses.  Charles ... send me the same info.

And thank you Jan for your great "what is this" picture!

Look for the next installment of "WIT?" on October 1.
