I am pretty sure it is the same as the W186. Do you need the complete unit, or just the filter screen at the bottom of the pick up pipes ? What I am going to use is the sock type filter used on American cars from the 50's and 60's, like this,

Here is a photo of what I did. The original type is on the reserve line and the sock type on the main line. The sock is a 3/8".

I don't think that older screen is original. Usually both tubes go through a top disc and the cylindrical screen surrounds both with another disc at the bottom. We can install new screens if the part is otherwise in good shape. I think some vendors still have the sender unit available.

There is a used one on eBay Germany now.
