Door hinges fabricating

Hi guys ,

here are some pics from the door hinges pins that i made, the old p
one were done and i decided making the new ones out of SS and inserting an updated greasing fitting.

SS should not be in direct contact with mild steel. Otherwise it loses it features and start to rust. I would prefer austenitic steel with termical treatment to be resistant for corrosion. SS is ok if you can use some part from rubber or plastic to isolate direct contact. Otherwise nice job.

maybe inserting some sort of metal bushing in the body will sole it?
