engine pulley hand crank screw
« on: February 05, 2016, 09:27:41 PM »
Can anyone tell me if the hand crank screw (part 136-030-01-90) for the engine pulley is left or right hand thread?  This is for the 170V post war model.

John,

Since you turn the crank clockwise, I would assume right hand thread.

Can you take a picture of the threads to help solve the question?

The screw is still fastened .... so don't have a picture to take.  I just want to remove the screw without tightening it even more.  I have tried to remove the screw with just a wrench without luck, and before I use a impact wrench I want to know the thread type.
