It's a sort of a long story.......I am restoring a 1950 170S, however, since I am involved with WW2 living History, I thought it would be nice to make some non-permanent modifications, which could be easily reversed, to make the car look pre-war, these included making a trunk lid with a spare tire carrier, changing out the hood, and changing the bumpers. To that end, I purchased, used a set of Bumpers from a pre-war 170V, took off the chrome 'bumperetts', and took them to a Plating Place to be chromed. - They lost them.

I am not going so far as to paint the car Field Gray, so I need these bumpettes chome.

But these rats at the chrome plater sole, sold, or just lost them.

So, now I need another set
