Dear friends,
Wonder how the two holes on top of the steering box work? Are they conneccted? How do you drain out old oil?
I'm confused and cant find any good help in the manual.

There is no drain. The plug on the axis of the worm is the fill plug, the other is the adjustment screw.

Thanks Henry!!
So, you mean, to drain old oil you need either disassemlble the whole thing (alot of stuff with steering column and everything), or turn the car upside down?
Either way, quite alot of work...
But again thanks!

I use a Mityvac to remove the old fluid.

Hi,
I'm not sure if it's same on the 220, but on the 170 you have to be careful not to overfill (1.5 dl) as it will leak/overflow while driving.
I recently changed the pipe running through the wormgear and it has just stopped leaking.
