Hi John,
Knowing the post is an old one, but I want to share my experience from the past days.
I hade the same problem and question. Tried to look into all available docs to find out if there were any special tool intended for this. Didnt find anything and tried to separate it with force. Unfortunally I actually broke one of the corners and had to give up...
Ended up this week buying a new one from Automobila.de, at around 120€.
And, the new one is for sure working and looks nice. But of course not as good quality and finish as things were done 70 years ago

I agree with Thomas. If you had a tool that gave the impeller enough support, you probably could get it off with some heating. But then you will probably have to machine the face of the pump casting where the seal hits, as well as make a new shaft, since they often are corroded.

Hi,
I did exactly as Thomas and got a corner broken, very hard even applied Heat.
Then got the "enough support" as Henry.
Finally The Blade out and replaced.
Applying the Heat will burned the old Rubber seal, if you plan not to save the Seal.
Thanks Thomas & Henry.
