Engine problem, cooling water leak...
« on: September 22, 2019, 03:12:00 PM »
Dear friends,

After some weeks of with my engine issues (starting problems...), I’m now back in the garage.
Still I havent solved the actual problem, despite correct ignition, fuel, air and compression.
Followed all tour recommendations and also had a professional mechanic at home, but failed to start.
Anyway, this weekend I started to dig into the details. Decided to recheck all components to be able to exclude potential issues.

As I dismounted the intake and exhaust manifold, a big problem occured.
The right bolt (at the exhaus manifold) was suddenly leaking cooler water, from the hole!
With some luck I managed the flow to not poor down in the valves....

However, I cannot be 100% sure the water isnt leaking in.
My question is - have anyone of you seen this before????

I guess I nedd to lift the engine, unscrew and go through ALL details this authum.
