sindelfinger emblem
« on: March 26, 2020, 06:11:03 PM »
Hello everyone.

This is my first post here!

So, I recently purchased the sindelfinger karosserie emblem for my 170s as it did not have one but I'm not sure how it was originally placed.

Can anyone help me?

Hope my picture helps.

Thanks!!

George,
I have not been able to locate anything to provide the proper placement.  At this point, perhaps just find as many photos as possible and make a judgement call from what you see.
Sorry we have not been of any help on this particular topic.

The emblem is not for all the 170 versions/yearmodels
Dont know where I’ve seen it but there was a friend in the 170V.DE forum who gave some insight on this some while ago.
On my 170S I dont have this.
Sorry to not being able to help more.

Thanks Scott and Thomas for your help!
After some deep searching on the 170V.DE forum I did find a photo with the measurement I need posted by Georges B. Looks right judging from the photos I have collected so I will mount it like that!
